Food
It is true, the best food is over in France. Most French restaurants
offer excellent extremely affordable menus. Coastal restaurants offer
great fresh sea food and fish choices while others have wonderful traditional
dishes which are just as delicious.
To taste: bread, cheese, charcuterie, wine.

Paris
This city is full of historic monuments, museums and such.
The "tour Eiffel" offers a fantastic view over Paris.
Climbing
up the stairs of the "Arc de Triomphe" will also grant to you
a nice view over
the "Champs Elysées" the most
beautiful "avenue" of the world as French people like to say.

Skiing
The Alps offer very good runs. There are numerous resorts with gigantic
terrain.
Resorts to remember: Tignes, Les 3 Vallées, L'Alpe d'Huez, Chamonix (Mont Blanc).
Partying
Well, well, well, most of my partying was and still takes place in Spain.
People are just more fun to party with. Plus, San Sebastian is just a
great city to have fun.

Cars
Lots of European cars are much smaller than American ones although a
whole load of minivans (Voyager) can be found. The average French
(and European) car would be a small diesel sedan with little options (no
power windows for example). Tons of 2-door cars are out there which have a great gas-mileage.
98 unleaded gasoline price is nearby $4.5 a gallon whereas only(!) $3.25
for diesel.
